Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Facilitator Training Refresher

Join Nobody’s Perfect Parenting BC and the BC Council for Families to review program concepts, gain fresh facilitation techniques and learn tips and strategies for offering Nobody's Perfect programs. 

Ongoing professional development is a critical requirement for ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of the Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program. This refresher workshop supports facilitators in maintaining fidelity to the program model while strengthening the skills necessary to effectively engage diverse parent groups.

This session will reinforce core program components, enhance facilitation competencies, and promote alignment with established adult education and participant-centered learning principles. It also provides a structured opportunity for facilitators to engage in peer exchange and support a coordinated, province-wide approach to program delivery.

In this virtual refresher, participants will: 

• Review the Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program framework, including its history, core concepts, and expectations of the facilitator role
• Strengthen application of adult learning principles to support inclusive, participant-centered environments
• Build facilitation capacity through structured practice of techniques such as warm-ups, group development activities, and engagement strategies
• Enhance skills for effective delivery in both in-person and virtual formats
• Participate in facilitated peer discussion to support knowledge exchange and continuous quality improvement

Prerequisite

This workshop is for trained NPP Facilitators only. Participants must have successfully completed the approved Nobody's Perfect Parenting Facilitator Training.
