The Federation’s 2020 Annual General Meeting

We are happy to announce that The Federation’s 2020 Annual General Meeting will take place virtually from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28th. The meeting will take place online over Zoom. The AGM agenda and a helpful Zoom guide are included below.

Registration for the 2020 Annual General Meeting is open now. There is no cost to register; the AGM is free to attend. Please select the appropriate membership category from the options below. Your Zoom meeting participation information will be included in your confirmation email. This year’s Annual General Meeting will include:

Presentation of the 2020 Annual Report and questions
Review and approval of bylaw changes
Ratification of new members
Board elections for President and Regional Directors
Award for Excellence
Recognition of retiring board members

A message from your Board of Directors

One of the things The Fed has always tried to do is provide a safe space to have the difficult, and sometimes uncomfortable, conversations. As a member organization our strength comes from our diverse perspectives and the ability to engage in meaningful dialogue. By participating in these discussions our belief is that we have each agreed to a social contract of sorts to uphold this space as a safe space for diverse opinions.

We ask you to be mindful of how you talk about what happens in this circle outside of this circle. We appreciate there will be information shared when we gather that you will want to take back to your colleagues and board members. We ask that you do this without attributing comments to individuals and to be mindful of the context in which your colleagues are sharing. These are challenging times and we may speak with a bit more passion than usual—we ask you to be kind in how you share what you hear in this space. Thank you.
