Coalition mobilizes over CLBC terms changes, schedules sector webinar

Sector update

As shared, the Coalition of BC Service Providers has retained legal counsel and is preparing for formal mediation with CLBC, expected to begin in February 2026, under the dispute resolution process in Schedule F of CLBC’s Terms and Conditions.

The Coalition is seeking broader sector engagement and has scheduled an informational webinar for February 19, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm via Microsoft Teams. The session will outline the Coalition’s concerns, provide details on operational and financial impacts, and collect sector feedback ahead of mediation. Agencies are asked to RSVP by February 18 at 3:00 pm at info@coalitionbc.com.

Key priorities for mediation include restoring the previous definition of “Services,” defining administration and surplus costs, clarifying the treatment of unearned revenue, protecting operational efficiencies, and ensuring fair consultation on any future changes. The webinar will provide an opportunity for the sector to learn more and ask questions.
