Social Services Labour Market & Skills Survey

The information gathered here will be used to inform a submission from the Social Service Sector Round Table Reference Group to the Round Table regarding the ongoing development of the Future Ready Skills Plan. This work builds on the work of the Social Service Sector Labour Market Research Project. The Future Ready Skills Plan is intended to focus on three areas:

• Not enough workers: Multiple challenges are contributing to labour shortages across all sectors.
• Skills constraint: Worker skills are misaligned with skills needed by expanding sectors.
• Economic transformation: Workers and employers need to adapt quickly to the demands of a diverse and rapidly changing environment.
