Learning & Professional Development

Our vision as an organization—the future we are working towards—is that of a society of strong, healthy individuals and families, and caring, inclusive communities strengthened by comprehensive, responsive, high-quality supports and services. To help us realize that vision, The Federation is committed to strengthening and supporting our members and BC’s community services sector more broadly through professional development, skill-building, networking, and leadership development opportunities.

Upcoming Learning Opportunities

Workshops focused on the following three topics will take place over the next two years in communities across the province. The topics have been selected based on feedback from Federation members at conferences, from Leadership 2020 participants, through ongoing member outreach, and in the focus groups conducted as part of the Social Services Labour Market Research Project.

And they support The Federation’s ongoing goal of building a stronger and more sustainable community social services sector.
