Complimentary Access to Online Labour Relations Courses Now Available | CSSEA
CSSEA is thrilled to announce that, due to funding made possible through the Federation of Social Services of BC (the Federation), members can enjoy one year of complimentary access to Labour Relations courses on the MyLeadershipHub online platform. MyLeadershipHub was first launched in December 2021 as a paid subscription service, offering online courses that are approximately one to three hours long and designed to be flexible and self-paced.
Free access includes the following seven modules:
- Performance Management
- Conducting Investigations
- Progressive Discipline
- Joint Labour Management Relations
- Duty to Accommodate
- Attendance Management
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Please note that access is limited to these courses developed by CSSEA staff in partnership with the EQ Development Group. The topics were chosen based on consultation with members about subjects that would be of greatest benefit to their staff. Access does not include the leadership courses or the LEAD program, which can still be accessed for a reduced fee.
To start taking advantage of these valuable resources, go to this membership page, select “Join Now” under basic membership, and fill in your details. Basic membership is free.
Employers are encouraged to require both new hires and existing staff who have leadership roles in their unionized settings to complete these courses as a condition of their probation or as part of their performance reviews. The Leadership Hub will generate certificates of completion following an individual’s successful completion of each module.
CSSEA thanks the Federation for its generosity and commitment to funding this important educational initiative for the sector. If you have any registration-related questions, please contact: cssea@myleadershiphub.com
